Fall Creative Writing Camps for young writers, ages 7-13. 4-5:30pm Tuesday Afternoons.Albany Middle School English teacher, Abby Skrivan, MA, offers these engaging, supportive writing camps with the aim of making writing fun! Students will develop and deepen their mastery of the writing process in small, collaborative groups. They'll practice fun writing exercises, including cooperative games, poetry, story writing and peer editing. Revised pieces will be published in a magazine which students can take home at the culmination of this unforgettable week! Note: students who attended in the summer of 2026 are encouraged to attend! Each session will have a different theme (New Sci-Fi Adventures, Odd Superheroes and Mythical Creatures). These classes are designed for both the enthusiastic and the reluctant writer!
